Rick Thompson

Since it’s inception in 1974 by Rick Thompson, Control Panels Inc. has grown to serve companies in the following industries: Water Treatment, Automotive, Machine Tool, & Environmental with the sole purpose of designing, building and installing control panels for its ever growing customer base. In 1982 CPI expanded and moved into its current location in Machesney Park Illinois in the I-90 corridor to better serve its local, regional and growing national client base. Throughout this expansion CPI has always remained focus on the customer and their needs by providing customized solutions.

Rick passed in 2006 and his wife Jeanette assumed the position of CEO to carry forth his vision of quality and commitment to the customer. CPI continues to grow under her leadership and commitment to her husband’s vision. Currently CPI employs 15 engineers, technicians and support staff that provide the attention to detail and unique solutions that CPI customers have come to expect. Our Mission statement is simple: Provide high quality products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
